Warranty

 

1 Coverage

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.

2 Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Misuse or abuse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidents
  • Acts of nature
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications

3 How to Make a Claim

If you believe that your ladder has a defect, please contact Towers & Sanders Ltd immediately.

You will need to provide a copy of your receipt and a description of the defect. We will then inspect the ladder and determine whether it is covered by the warranty. If it is, we will repair or replace the ladder at no cost to you.

4 Shipping Costs

Towers & Sanders will cover the cost of shipping the ladder to and from our manufacturing facility in London for warranty repairs or replacements.

5 Remedies

The manufacturer’s sole obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace the defective ladder. The manufacturer is not liable for any other damages, including consequential or incidental damages.

6 Additional Information

This warranty is valid only for LEWIS Ladders purchased from LEWIS-Ladders.co.uk.

If you purchase a ladder from an unauthorised retailer or second-hand, the warranty will be void.

This warranty is non-transferable. It is only valid for the original purchaser of the ladder.

This warranty is the manufacturer’s sole warranty for its ladders. No other warranties, express or implied, are made.

7 Example

You purchased a ladder from Towers & Sanders Ltd on January 1, 2023. On December 31, 2025, you notice that one of the steps on the ladder is cracked. You contact us and we will collect to repair or replace it. 

Under this warranty, Towers & Sanders Ltd would be responsible for repairing or replacing the ladder, including the cost of shipping. The manufacturer would not be liable for any other damages, such as consequential or incidental damages.
