Delivery

1 Free Delivery

Free delivery is applicable to all orders on LEWIS Ladders. However, if you are located in Scotland, additional charges may apply once you have inputted your shipping address.

2 Delivery Address

Towers & Sanders Ltd deliver LEWIS Ladders to the delivery address stipulated in your order. The delivery address should include a house number and street name along with a full valid postcode. 

A telephone number is required in case the delivery address can not be found. 

Our drivers will deliver between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. 

3 Date and Time of Delivery

You must ensure that someone is present to accept delivery during the times we deliver the ladders. However, if you know you will not be present, leave details of a safe place for our drivers to leave your ladder in the additional details section at the time of ordering. 

When our driver delivers the ladder in the safe place that you specify, it is at your own liability, your own risk. Therefore, if the goods are water-damaged or stolen, then Towers & Sanders Ltd accepts no responsibility for this loss. However, if in doubt, provide a work address where our driver can deliver your ladder.

Towers & Sanders Ltd will determine the method, date and time of delivery. Postponement of delivery at your request or the failure on your part to accept delivery, then you shall be liable to pay all extra expenses to Towers & Sanders Ltd.

Any dates and times are approximate and early or late delivery will not be an acceptable reason for refusing goods. Towers & Sanders Ltd cannot accept responsibility for late deliveries caused by poor address details, difficult access or no one being present at the delivery address to receive the ladder.

 

4 Unable to Deliver

If Towers & Sanders Ltd are not able to deliver your LEWIS Ladders within the days stated, we shall notify you by e-mail to arrange another date for delivery. Towers & Sanders Ltd will not deliver the goods in instalments if the full order is not available at the same time for delivery.

 

6 Fast Delivery

Fast deliveries only apply to ladders in stock. Therefore, orders for ladders that are out of stock will be dispatched when stock becomes available. It is, therefore, recommended to check stock availability if you are making a time-sensitive order by calling Towers & Sanders Ltd.

If our vans are full, deliveries are made by third-party carriers, such as Parcelforce. Your ladder will be sent for a Next Working Day delivery (but there is no guarantee). However, it may include Parcelforce Standard depending on the delivery zone. 

Towers & Sanders Ltd deliver to all parts of the UK ourselves but do not deliver to any offshore addresses. All parts of Scotland are chargeable, and the charge is calculated at the checkout.

 

7 Responsibility

Towers & Sanders Ltd will not be responsible for any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss that is not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the website or when a contract for the sale of goods by us to you was formed. We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these conditions.
