A quick summary of How Our Ladders are made.

A RUNG IS BORN EVERY 10 SECONDS IN OUR FACTORY

D rung extrusion awaits cutting down to size. All our extrusion is supplied from SAPA the world's leading producer of extruded aluminium. All material we use is certified to a British standard and quality standard
After cutting ladder rungs to the exact measurement the rung then goes through a procedure we call bubbling. we use a 10 tonne press with specially made formers which press down on the rung at the same time as pushing the ends to create a bubble like rim 35mm in from each end.
The two sides of the ladder which is also known as ladder style is loaded on to our cnc bed and the D shaped holes are punched at 250mm intervals. The D shaped holes are for the D shaped rung to be inserted.
Rung's are manually inserted into the ladder stile as you can see, the rung will stop at the bubble section on the rung and the second ladder style will be placed on top of the rungs and the ladder is now taking shape.
Ladder then goes through our spinning procedure, this is were the ladder rung is formed and locked on to the style. The spinning machine is fully automatic and has probably spun well over 1 million rungs in its time.
Ladders are then stacked awaiting QC inspection where every rung is checked. Ladders will not get passed this point if anything is found not to be perfect.
Once passed QC each ladder is hand assembled, feet riveted in, side brackets fitted  and final check before cleaning ready for storage.
Ladder finished and awaiting packing to make its way to you in super fast time and excellent condition

And not forgetting that we are an ISO9001 Registered Firm and run a quality management system, also as a company we hold  certified British Standard kitemark licences.
